Hi,

I have JMRC running on a MacBook but have added an RPi4 as my DAC allows for a direct installation of an RPi, headless obviously. It has taken a little while to get everything up and running with an attached SSD but I have managed to do it with help from these forums and the Pi resources.

However, I cannot cross the final hurdle, getting the JRemote app to connect to the RPi - gives Timed out on connection summary.

Info;

Most importantly, there is no Media Network option on the tools drop down so I can't get the Access Key.

I can't connect with IP address, I can do both with IP and Access Key on the Mac. The RPi has a static via Mac reservation as has the MacBook. The RPi is wired only, I have turned off the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

With regard to the RPi, I can SSH to it, use VNC and have disabled UFW (although I had allowed port 52199). MC32 is set to start up on boot.

I have upgraded to a Master Licence and that's showing as registered on both machines.

Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong please?

Go into MC's Options > General > Features section and make sure Media Network is checked. If it's unchecked, it's disabled. If it's checked and still not appearing try unchecking it, then fully closing MC then reopening it and recheck it and close and reopen MC again.

Thank you Awesome Donkey, that was the issue as I copied everything from the MacBook manually, unsuccessfully it appears. I checked the tick boxes so many times too  ::)
