If this thread is resurrected, I can give you information on my current setup. Again I am sorry I didn’t follow this thread to its conclusion. And reading the thread again there is quite a journey from stage recordings to consumer release.
Putting the technical aspects aside, and there are many more to understand, does Atmos have any way for the consumer to know what is contained in the signal? This is all confusing. My guess is that the movie producers are using Atmos to add more sizzle to the steak with no way for the consumers to know otherwise. Trust but verify.
