I have a film which Analyse Audio reports as -93dB peak & 47 LU Volume Level

when this is played with peak level normalise on then I get a +40dB volume adjustment which is rather dangerous

I reran analysis and now get the same 47 LU but now get +9.7 peak on one channel and -21 on the other

in contrast, ffmpeg gives me

Code: [Select]
ffmpeg -i input -af ebur128=framelog=verbose -f null -

  Integrated loudness:
    I:         -23.6 LUFS
    Threshold: -35.5 LUFS

  Loudness range:
    LRA:        20.4 LU
    Threshold: -45.5 LUFS
    LRA low:   -39.2 LUFS
    LRA high:  -18.8 LUFS

so there are 2 things here

1) is the analysis correct?
2) I think there be some sort of alert/safety when you start playback and the adjustment to be applied is v large like "about to increase volume by an amount that may deafen you, are you sure"
