Download 32-bit build
https://files.jriver-cdn.com/mediacenter/channels/v32/latest/MediaCenter320055.exe (works on all systems)

32.0.55 (6/13/2024)

1. NEW: The Name edit box in the image Face Tagging tool will have a list of names for choices, from all existing names from image [People] field, plus any new name added during the current session.
2. Fixed: The image Face Tagging tool's status bar text about face tagging statistics was not always updated.

32.0.54 (6/10/2024)

1. NEW: Switched to a new EV certificate (may cause trust issues to go away).
2. Fixed: Stop after each item lists in the tooltip now.

32.0.53 (6/6/2024)

1. Changed: Previous and next still work when in stop after mode.

32.0.52 (6/4/2024)

1. NEW: Image Face-tagger will show additional status text, such as "There are 7 tagged regions.  Region 1, 2 have no name.  Region 7 has no rectangle."
2. Changed: JRVR will no longer perform partial DolbyVision adjustments on Blu-ray content when an Enhancement Layer is required, to avoid distorting the image.
3. Changed: Images that were perfect squares could be unexpectedly rotated by the image printer.
4. Fixed: Images with transparency could print as grey instead of white.
5. Fixed: Picking to stop after could advance more than one track after playback.
6. NEW: Added an option to Video -> Display Settings to enable HDR early when playing a HDR video (this enables HDR before playback starts).

32.0.51 (5/30/2024)

1. NEW: Skins look for a ContinuousStopButton image and use it for the stop mode if found.
2. NEW: Skins look for a ShuffleAutoButton button and use it for the auto shuffle mode.
3. Changed: Modified the information text below the "Do not merge MJMD [People] tag with XMP data" option.

32.0.50 (5/28/2024)

1. Fixed: In image Face-tagging tool with no existing regions, the initial mouse cursor was a scroll/move type, instead of a rectangle selection type.
2. Fixed: In image Face-tagging tool, click-and-drag in an area outside of any existing regions did not work as expected (it created a default-sized rectangle centered around the last mouse position, instead of creating a rectangle the user intended).
3. Changed: Updated Chinese (simplified) translation file (thanks YanJun Sun).
4. Fixed: Some text on the playback OSD could be cut-off/missing since 32.0.48.
5. NEW: An option to show the image Action Window is presented in the menu on the image in the tag window.
6. NEW: An option to skip merging MJMD People data into XMP.

32.0.49 (5/23/2024)

1. NEW: JRVR will present SDR video as PQ/BT.2020 when running on a screen with HDR active, for improved quality over the Windows built-in conversion.
2. Changed: Reverse Geocoding will use "municipality" for [City] field, if other elements ("city", "town", or "village") are not found.
3. NEW: Added a "Combine Playlists" command to the right-click when you select multiple playlists.
4. Changed: Improved responsiveness when starting playback of a video while an audio file is fading out.

32.0.48 (5/21/2024)

1. Fixed: Text subtitles would render with their drop shadows cut-off at the beginning and end of line in some cases.
2. Changed: Reverse Geocoding data will be cached to disk files so that the next time a file with matched location will load from the cached file without hitting the server.
3. NEW: Added an MCC to show the view header menu (MCC_SHOW_VIEW_HEADER_MENU / 22045).
4. Changed: Before running Reverse Geocoding, MC will ask whether to run Update Library (from tags) if some of the selected files have deficiencies in GPS data.
5. NEW: Users can enter their own keys for Geocoding (Options > General > Online metadata).
6. Changed: Updated Czech translation (thanks Jan Boháč).

Backup library (ctrl + shift +B) no longer saves to default backup location on first use.

Backup library (ctrl + shift +B) no longer saves to default backup location on first use.

It opens the folder set in Options for library backups for me.  What does it do for you?

It opened my Windows download folder on first use after installing 55.
This has never happened before and I have used manual backup every day for years.
On 2nd use it correctly went to the default backup location.
Have not tested this, but could it be using last opened location?

The tab problem I reported for an earlier MC32 build is still occurring, seemingly upon each start of the server process.  (So, either on a full reboot of Windows or after purposefully closing the server process.)

A screenshot is attached.  Prior to closing the GUI and then shutting down the process (both done in an orderly fashion), the tabs (from left to right) were Player (the usual one), Classical (a view into the classical music part of my collection), and Recent Albums.  Upon starting things back up, the Recent Albums tab just repeats three times.

Any thoughts?  Please let me know if other information would be helpful for reproducing the issue or debug.

Thanks!

If you can make a library backup where you close one tab set, and a different one loads, email it to matt at jriver.  Thanks.

The tab problem was because "Audio" was selected instead of "Last location".  With that setting it will create all the startup views to the last audio view used.

32.0.54 (6/10/2024)

1. NEW: Switched to a new EV certificate (may cause trust issues to go away).

I just installed the 32.0.55 update on several Windows computers.
First time in about 2 months that Windows SmartScreen and/or Google Safe Browsing for Chrome or Firefox hasn't flagged the download or running the install.

Hopefully this new Extended Validation certificate has solved that problem. Seems to have solved it for me.

I did not have a problem installing for first time either (using Norton, ugh).

The Media SubType is set to Music Video when I import movies that are in MKV format. This may have also been a problem in 49 but I have been able to import movies in the past without problems. Changing the tags does solve the problem but it gets a little tedious.
