Gamma curve for new JRVR SDR-in-HDR feature?

Great work in the new SDR-in-HDR10 feature. Getting SDR content to look right in Windows HDR mode is a bit of a hassle, so it's nice that some of that difficulty has extracted away for video watching. I'm wondering though, what SDR gamma curve is this emulating?

It seems a little darker than what I am used to, is it 2.4? It might be nice to have a setting to control this to accommodate both dark room and bright room viewing.
