I added a link to the USB device in your first post.  They call it a USB Audio Bridge.

I couldn't find the 12th-1 DAC model.  This was the closest:  https://www.denafrips.com/ares15th

Why do you need the USB device?  Can't you connect directly to the DAC?

I'm using the Singxer SU-6 to convert the USB feed to a much cleaner I2S feed to my DAC via HDMI.

The 12th-1 DAC was replaced with the 15th version just a couple of weeks ago. I've only owned these two products for a couple of months.

As a test, please see if it works without the SU-6.  That should tell you where the problem is.
