I have "disable automatic update" option checked, and I keep MC running 24/7 in Theater View on a TV. I want to check for and install MC updates without having to drop out of Theater View and click around with a mouse.

So I put an "update button" on the top roller of Theater View for MCC 24011. When I select the "update button" using the mce IR remote, MC checks for and downloads the update in the background, but never actually installs the update that is just downloaded.

Any ideas to make it actually install that update without having to drop out of Theater View and click "install" with a mouse?

EDIT: [SOLVED] I already had previously created a "restart mc" button in Theater View... So after doing the "update" (check/download), simply wait a moment then hit "restart mc" with the mce remote, and viola the update actually installs and MC goes right back to Theater View!
