If you're editing outside MC and drag a second time, it still uses the first edit, correct?

I drag the file a second time and the artist stays "a-ha" (what I changed it to).

The debugger isn't running the analyze code on the second drag.

For me it's making a sidecar right next to the file when I change the tag.

Are you changing the filename subtly?

I guess that sidecar is key word. I don't use sidecars. So I think that if sidecar is used, then mc saves changes there and that is priority. Could you try without sidecars?

E: I do no other steps than those three. no renaming or anything. just drag and drop, edit in mc. drag and drop same file again (and no sidecar feature activated). 100% reproducible for me

Thanks.  I reproduced and I'll change it to not update.

Next build:
Changed: When dragging a file that is already imported into the program it will no longer analyze the file again.
