Did you try reinstalling the latest version of webremote?

Is there anything else running on the same port?

The port is okay as it lets me do some things.

I can stop/start and play a track from playing now.

Its just when i select from the library that MC exits.

ps. I am using the NetRemote software and plugin from B Sweet.

Is it the latest version?  There are a lot of versions of these.

And does it work from a browser?  If so, the problem may not be in WebRemote, but in NetRemote.

This might be your problem: If playing now is empty, switching to the Panel (library view) in NetRemote will crash MC9 every time.  8)

Okay ive just loaded it all onto my laptop and it all works fine.

Laptop and Main PC both running XP Pro  all latest Sp's etc.

It must be something on my PC that's duff.

Also it errors when i try to blow a CD.

This is the same PC that i just updated from V8 where everything worked perfectly.

Any ideas as to where i should look.
