Gapless seek in videos still not working

<< < (4/6) > >>

tzr916:
Oh you are on MC 32... I would recommend trying MC 33...

Are actually SEEING "automatic zeroing volume" somewhere on your screen? Where would I look in your video to see that?

donac64:
I have installed MC 33; tried "Use Presentation Queue", but it doesn’t solve the problem.

"Automatic zeroing volume" is not something that shows in the screen, it is something that I can hear. When I jump to another part of the video, the volume gets immediately, automatically, muted (which I called "automatic zeroing volume"), and then, in about half a second, it fades in until it reaches its normal level. This is the problem I would like to eliminate. I would like, when I jump to another part of a video, no volume muting, no volume fading, just jump, as it does with audio files.

Hendrik:
This behavior is hard-wired and cannot be controlled, sorry.

donac64:
If “hard-wired” means that it has to do with something unchangeable in my computer, then I think it is not true, because, as I said, PotPlayer and Windows Media Player don’t have this issue.
So, I think I have to understand that here “hard-wired” means that it is a feature of JRiver Media Center that cannot be changed.

Yes, that's what Hendrik meant. Meaning it's hardwired in Media Center itself and can't be changed/controlled.
