how to assign hotkeys to FLIRC for MC

I want to assign the Sound/Picture Sync hotkey (Shift + , or .) to my remote using FLIRC but can't for the life of me figure out how. Any help would be appreciated. I don't even remember setting up FLIRC. I just plugged it in and it worked. I'm using a MyHarmony universal.

Have you tried the flirc software? I use it to learn buttons, it is rather easy to handle.

Thorsten, thanks, I thought I remembered using the software, but couldn't locate it the day I posted this. Not sure why. Probably because I've been sick and in a haze. Anyway, I've found it and will now experiment with it. Thanks
