bob - I've got some good news for you.

When I 1st opened MC33.0.27 whilst the MC Icon was bouncing up and down in the Dock it was accompanied this time by the Spinning Beach Ball and the MC Window opened up after about 5 seconds.

This morning I noticed Sequoia 15.0.1 was available so I decided to install it and discovered the following:-
Just like with Windows OS Updates 15.0.1 had downloaded in the background.
The estimated time needed to carry out the installation  of the update was 20 mins, either the M2, M3 & M4 CPU's are pathetically slow at installing updates or they had forgotten that the update had already been downloaded because it only took 5 minutes to install an update that was over 1Gb on the M1 Mac Mini.
Another newbie is that they are now providing a list of the changes/new features the update introduces.

Neither Sequoia 15.0.1 or the new version of Safari have done any damage, or introduced new problems, to MC 33.0.27 or Track Info Plugins.

Bob - either this "change" is wrong or an undocumented change to Moving a Playing Now Popup has been made.

33.0.13 (8/15/2024)
39. Changed: Playing Now Popup - Click on popup text when done moving to show normally.

After selecting "Move popup" from the popups menu, the popup is replaced by a window/form of the same size, that only has the words "*Drag here to move*" on it, once the user has dragged the popup to it's new location/position releasing the mouse button results in the popups normal window/form reappearing. Unlike on the Win Platform where the "move" window/form has 2 sections, a smaller "*drag here to move*" section and a larger "Click here when done section".

Thanks for the feedback. I should probably install that on my Sequoia machine when I get a chance.

WRT the Playing Now popup, on Mac the move is a little different since Mac has a "move by background" that doesn't exist on windows so the log entry isn't clear.

JRiver Media Center 33.0.27 will not run on my M1 Macbook running OS 15. Neither will Media Center 32. Please help. I upgraded to 33 because my registered version of 29 would no longer run on macOS Sequoia. Sad.

Considering the fact that MC33 does run with MacOS15 on other peoples M1 and M2 Macs there must be something on your system that causes an issue. More info is needed to solve the issue.
Like, does MC not start up at all? Does it crash? Can you provide a log and/or a crash report? Are you sure all the permissions are set correctly? etc.
