Tried all of that without success.

A few clues:
-This is an older Win 10 4770K system and WDM worked well before, but with JRiver 20 or 22. (the overall system is very different now)
-Anything from HDD plays fine, but when I try to open the same program Live "something went wrong with playback" pops up.
-Streaming gets no audio.
-A newer Win 11 12700 system seems to work well with the WDM driver.

Sorry, but you're probably missing something.  Read carefully about setup.

Try this...

1) Run Media Center as an administrator, then go into MC's Options > General > Features section and uncheck the WDM Driver option then hit the OK button and completely close Media Center.

2) Run Media Center again as an administrator, then again go into MC's Options > General > Features section and check the WDM Driver option then hit the OK button and completely close Media Center.

3) Reboot your system.

4) Run Media Center normally (not as an administrator) and see if the WDM driver is appearing where you expect it.

Thanx, worked for me, no reboot needed.

Migrated to a new system and created the same problem as before...can't get the WDM driver to show as a selection in Audio Device.

I've enjoyed using JRiver all along but haven't set up a system in years...so I'm fairly certain I am doing something incorrectly.  Tried all of the suggestions here.

What the heck is it?

(New system is Win 11, fresh JR 30, 16GB, 12700KF, 3080 graphics.  Lynx Aurora and AES-16e were migrated from the old to new system.)

Uhh, the WDM driver shouldn't and won't be listed as an audio output/device listed in Media Center's Audio options. It should be available as a audio output for the rest of your Windows system and other apps, and what you do is set other apps to use the WDM driver as the audio output.

In my case JRiver Driver is  listed as an audio output/device listed in Media Center's Audio options.

Please use just one thread.

State clearly what version of JRiver you're using.
