Settings for delivering bitperfect DSD to a Chord Mojo2
« on: Yesterday at 07:41:18 pm »

Hi folks,

have been trying a Lenovo P50 with Ubuntu 24 to deliver bitperfect DSD 128 and 256 to my Chord Mojo2. I have no trouble using Strawberry to handle all PCM files, but apparently Strawberry can't currently output DSD as DSD?

So hoping that JRiver can. But I can't determine the effective settings. My Chord Mojo2 keeps showing that downconverted sound is coming from JRiver. Can someone please let me know the settings for the Mojo2 to receive native DSD up to it's maximum of 256.

cheers

Peter

Enable DSD bitstreaming and make sure you're using a hw: or front: audio output for your DAC and make sure you don't use the DSP Studio > Output Format > Output Encoding option, make sure it's set to None.

I don't work for JRiver... I help keep the forums safe from "male enhancements" and other sources of sketchy pharmaceuticals.
