Android on a Samsung tab

I bought the android version today in hopes of mirroring to a Roku.  Seems like a really iffy deal.  It’s running on my pc library and video playlists play one video and stops with no hope of playing any more.  Seem like it will play some artists and others not so much.  Looking as buggy and hard to use as JRemote.

That post came off pretty negative but, really could use some ideas.  I can’t find any common thread, some music plays and others not.  Plus why would the playlist of videos only play the first and stop?
