1. Downloaded and installed JRemote (v3.42) on my iPhone. Obtained the Access Key for a connection to the JRiver server and established a connection. Selected This Device and got the iPhone zone set. At this point I can see my tracks and playlists and some of them a playing OK.

1. JRemote has no connection. Checked all my network connections including WiFi and all are OK. Restarted both the iPhone and the Soundbox PC and re-launched JRiver MC to check the Access Key and authentication, everything seems to be as expected. Googled no connection and found several posts on JRiver Forum relating to connectivity but the only one that seemed appropriate was to uninstall/reinstall JRemote. I tried to uninstall on Apple Store but the only icons that were available were OPEN or SHARE so I deleted the app on my iPhone and downloaded/installed JRemote again from the Apple Store. I obtained a new Access Key from Media Network on the JRiver MC app and started to set up the connection as before but this time I was required to include my username and password for server access. My 1st attempt failed but 2nd attempt got connected. Once connected, I could see all my tracks when selecting AUDIO and all my playlists when selecting PLAYLISTS but when I attempted to select the zone for my iPhone on the THIS DEVICE button, there was no listing for iPhone. I then selected the Soundbox server option and was able to control the PC JRiver app from my iPhone. I searched the forum for problems relating to changing or selecting a zone in JRemote and found a suggested solution to click on the player tab in the JRiver MC app and create a new zone as the iPhone. I restarted JRiver MC and restarted my iPhone and now the THIS DEVICE button shows an iPhone choice, When I select the iPhone zone choice, I see iPhone with Soundbox as the zone which is different from the initial set-up I did. Now when I use this zone, I see all the same tracks and playlists but when I click on the play arrow, nothing happens. Additionally, on the PC JRiver app I am now getting an error message that something went wrong with playback Details: the file could not be found, Check that the filename in the library matches the filename on disk. Is there a setting in JRiver that needs to be changed and/or why is the iPhone zone different from the initial set-up? I don’t understand why the iPhone zone didn’t just pop-up as it did on the first installation. Also, is creating an iPhone zone on the player tab in JRiver really a good solution? I’m a little frustrated with what should be a very simple set-up. All suggestions are welcome.
