Newbie here, first post, on trial version of MP.
I'm trying to output DSD256 (4X) from playback of FLAC files (44.1 to 352Khz)
My DAC is configured (ASIO), I've selected 4x DSD native in Output encoding and I'm able to play the files.
Audio Path says it's outputting DSD 256 via ASIO but with this error message:
"not using enough bits to output the input directly"
What does this mean ? (I get this message at all FLAC rates)
Is it actually outputting DSD256 ? (my DAC doesn't have a readout),
Do I have something wrongly configured ? Couldn't find any mention of this in the Wiki.
