program freezes and "can't play track" message

Hi, I've been expiriencing situations where I'm DJing and the program stop responding. I can "close" or "wait" and it usually starts right back up, but it's really frustrating - obviously. I've also received messages that say "can't play track." Sorry, I don't have the exact wording as it's a moment of panic in the midst of an event. This has been happening over the last few iterations of JRiver (30, 31, 32).

Any ideas?

What are you playing to?  A DAC?  It may be disappearing.  Try power cycling it to confirm.
