Yeah, noobie here -
Like the MC9 product so far, but yipes with the bugs.
Bugs to report:
1) Album cover art for U2 - The Joshua Tree just refuses to import. Tried all possible combinations of Import from....nothing happens. Worked fine for 10 other albums, but not this one. I even downloaded it and put it in the data/cover art directory and did an offline "get cover art" and still doesn't find it.
Also, find cover art from Internet put Black Flag "Who's Got the 10 1/2?" instead of The Who, Who's Next the second time I tried it. Worked fine the first time (I know, if it ain't broke...)
Would be nice to be able to manually associate an image with a track, just in case
Q: is there a way to mass download all of the cover art for the entire collection at once or does it have to be done one album at a time? I've already got a large MP3 collection ripped before I came across MJ/MC and would prefer to not have to do it one at a time.
2) If I have the file properties window open and click on an album in Artist/Album tree, nothing shows up. I need to right click on the album and then click properties to get anything to show up. Odd.
3) While playing a playlist I double clicked on an album in the tree and the list of tracks, cover art came up, the transport controls showed the name of the first track in the album, but MC keeps playing the last song from the playlist. Odd.
4) Cover art is a little closer to the bottom of the window than the top when "Stretched to fit."
5) Many of the scroll bars under the "Tools" menu won't scroll (like the scroll bar under Tools/Find and Replace and Tools/Clean File Properties). Tried using mouse, up/down arrows, page up/down, etc.
6) Agree with an older post I saw that said MC is pretty rough around the edges, I'm a little surprised that you're charging money for it now. I like the potential of what I'm seeing, but MC is quite a ways from prime time.
