Converting the sources.List to the DEB822 format.
« on: January 22, 2025, 04:08:24 pm »

Debian starts to switch to the DEB822 format (Sid)
I use Testing.

The entry for Mediacenter is:
Code: [Select]
cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/jriver.list
deb [signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/jriver-com-archive-keyring.gpg arch=amd64,i386,armhf,arm64] http://dist.jriver.com/latest/mediacenter/ trixie main

I have already converted the Debian repos.

According to this scheme, the entry for jriver should read as follows:

Code: [Select]
Types: deb
URIs: http://dist.jriver.com/latest/mediacenter/
Architectures: amd64
Suites: trixie
Components: main
Enabled: yes
Signed-By: /usr/share/keyrings/jriver-com-archive-keyring.gpg

This should then be saved in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/jriver.sources

Is that correct?

Basically it should mirror what's being done in Ubuntu 24.10 now.

Added mediacenter.source (to the repo)
https://dist.jriver.com/latest/mediacenter/mediacenter.source

Actually that could probably cover all of the debian based distros because of the Suites but I only added the supported debian for the time being.
