I have a number of SACDs that I have imported into my library as .iso files. When I moved my library to a different OS, I used Rename, Move, & Copy files with the update database option to change the path. In doing that, all the .iso files lost their index. i.e., The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway disc 1.iso;2 became The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway disc 1.iso.
I just reproduced the problem to report it and after it did that, it then changed the names of the files on the first disc which I have also seen from time to time. There's a video at
https://youtu.be/ORRIlimU2JQIf I try to use the rename function again and give the expression "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway disc 1.iso;[Track #]" - it doesn't work. If I use the tagging feature to set the filename back, it usually works but sometimes it renames the ISO file which requires more fixing.
What are the best practices for using ISO files?
Thanks!
