I have an Id 300, NUC7, 4GB RAM, 240GB SSD. It was purchased 5 years ago - in 2020. It will not play 24 bit FLAC files. 16 bit files play perfectly and sound great. But, as soon as I try to play an album or single track that is 24 bits it freezes. I have tried multiple recordings & artists, and the result is always the same.
I just did a software update which displayed the following:
Id 25.0.15. MC 30.0.96
The files are being streamed from a NAS via Ethernet, to an Anthem AVM 70 preamp via a HDMI 2.0 cable.
Why is the Id stalling on 24 bit files, and is it fixable with this generation Id?
