Also this feature (playback zones) could be used to manage different playlists for a party (one for rock&roll, one for slow, one for salsa, etc...) switching between them without to lost the current position of each one, using the same sound card for all zone.

It is possible right now but it would be a lot easier if MC would provide a "pause current zone & switch to a new one and play" command.

or better: "play the new one, then switch to it, then pause the previous current one" so there is no break (important during a party).

Moreover it would be nice to be able to associate a function key (F1, F2,...) to a zone so to switch would be very easy (for exemple F2 to switch to zone "2" and alt+F2 to "pause & switch" to zone "2").

it would be nice to have a Shortcut configure menu where the user can change them to what ever the user wants.
