« on: January 02, 2003, 04:51:17 pm »

I use MJ 8.0 and everytime i download the plug-in for Rio 500 handheld my MJ crashes and it takes a really long time to accomplish that, like 10 minutes. I use
Windows XP as my OS. Anybody have any ideas? :-/

Huey,

When do you have the crash? During the download of the Plug-in or when you click on the Rio 500 from within MJ?

Steve,

It crashes when i click onto the Rio 500. I uninstalled MJ 8.0 and now i get this when i reinstalled Mj 8.0 and try to run the program." Media Jukebox was not installed correctly for the current user. Please reinstall Media Jukebox."
Any ideas?

Huey,

In regards to the installation problem, this is unrelated to the Rio. Try reinstalling MJ 8. If you have multiple user accounts who will use it, you must install it for each user.

Once you get it back up, test out the Rio and let me know. If it is crashing, it is a driver issue which we can try to chase.
