MCUtils still best for discogs import? Current installation guide?

Hi All.
I was looking into MCUtils for importing my vinyl data from Discogs (As a place holder of course.  not to Play it) and I read that was the utility to do it with. But the posts I found for it date back to 2015 - 2016.  Is there anything current for install with MC33?

A concise install guide would be much appreciated.

Or if MCUtils is not the way to go then a suggested alternative?

Thanks.

I used Vinyl Studio to process my vinyl rips - including separating tracks and cleaning up hiss, clicks, etc. It has a direct link to discogs to import tag data. MC cannot, and should no, provide as much functionality at Vinyl Studio. Take a look. It is not very expensive and has a free trial. It is tailored for managing vinyl rips.

I can second that  Vinyl Studio is a great tool.
When it comes to importing tag data from Discogs I find the most reliable method is to use the catalog number of the disc in question, rather than artist and album title.

Thanks guys.

I will be looking at getting Vinyl Studio and ripping some of my vinyl.  But probably not all.  But I would still like to catalog all in MC 33.  From what I read MCUtils was the way to do this. But I can't find anything current on it.

Ah, cataloging without ripping. You could do that with Vinyl Studio using dummy tracks, but that is a little round about. Of course, any standard importing in MC requires a file for each tract. Cannot help with MCUtils.
