A beautiful thing JRiver does is play SACD ISOs, but it isn't very clear because on each SACD there are the 2 channels and the surround channels. They are listed in exact order (2xs) and i cannot sus which are the surround files.
The tracks are listed IE 1-5 in order, then again 1-5 in the same order. What I would love to do is to identify them by 2 channels and surround. In other programs, the 2 channels are usually the 1st set of IE 1-5 and the surround is usually the second set, but I can also right-click and raise properties to be sure what is 2 channel and surround.I do not see a properties infos option in JRiver or any way to do this
When I hover over a file I get information like bitrate, size, folder locale etc, but no channel info
Can you please advise?
Cheers
UPDATE
"I get this error when loading a SACD(iso)
Playback could not be started on the output 'WASAPI' using format `352.8 kHz 6 CH
The output format may not be supported by your hardware. You can use DSP studio to change the output to a compatible format .
Also, make sure that your system has a valid sound playback device and that it is properly configured in playback options."
Foobar plays them fine, and so did JRiver not that long ago
Know that I am rather thick and it took me forever to get it all set so I could play ATMOS and everything else and I do not want to muck with what works already
Any advice is appreciated
