Background Activity [Answered]

Something strange going on here. Shortly after start MC33 begins with some background operation as witnessed by high cpu and disk activity. This leads to file changes as witnessed in the attached screenshot. Its hundreds of files that are changed each session. I am not aware of having made any changes, but maybe I have.

How can I stop this from happening? I do not want MC groom my library without being told so.

Edit: Probably solved. Must have activated background volume analysis, which was missing on quite many files...

FreeFileSync. Not so pretty (OK, it's ugly), but very good.

Yeah, definitely not prettiest interface, but it is very fast and can do a lot... for free.  I have used for about a decade and like it a lot.

I have yet to find a program that reliable, versatile and easy to use. This makes it worth while for me. Use it in client installations, too.
