The refresh rate switcher is currently driven by the database tag alone, to work with capture cards there needs to be some mechanism for live / on the fly changes

Ideally this would switch automatically as the content switches

Next best option would be for the current fps to be recorded such that restarting playback would trigger a refresh rate change (eg a database entry is made for the channel and this is updated as the content changes)

Basically any option that can be integrated into a remote control (ie mcws) would be better than current state
