As it says in the title.
I am running headless Linux via xrdp and while at the console DLNA renderers show up fine in MCE.
In the remote desktop they don't.

I would like it if they did since I can't realistically run that machine with a monitor attached.

Hey guys for anyone else who wants to run a headless MC on Linux - I found that Xubuntu Minimal does the job.

Apparently with Linux mint there is some fairly deep seated issue with the desktop initiation process which not only has an adverse effect on "panel" between console and xrdp sessions but also I can confirm generates the issue in MCE where DLNA servers on the network are not seen.

After much scratching around I decided to ditch Linux Mint, lovely though it is and go with something simpler which also has been reported as solid between Console and xrdp and it seems to have paid off.

XUbuntu 24.04.2 LTS
