Reducing dither to 16bit for a TDA1541A Dac

Hi,

I have an Audial S5b dac which is a 16bit dac and a Matrix spdif 3 usb DDC converter.  I am using usb into the Matrix and the i2s connection (Matrix out) into the Audial S5b.  How do I set the output to 16bit which matches my Dac?

I have the Media Center 32 version.
