MC34 starts and immediately crashes.
« on: April 28, 2025, 06:11:24 pm »

Debian Testing;
I installed MC34 via Synaptic.
MC34 imported my library and started playing the song that was last played in MC33.
But nothing responded. I then killed MC via the Task Manager.
Terminal output:

If you're using Debian Testing, that could be why. It mentioning GPU is interesting, what GPU do you have?

Somewhat similar here with Debian Testing running Enlightenment.  On running was able to introduce license and then windows disappeared but icon exists, though cannot get to app. On running from terminal i get:

Do either of you have any other OSes (Ubuntu, Mint, etc.) to try it on to see if it happens there too or if it's specific to Debian Testing?

Some issue with the chromium plugin not working with that combination of OS/Desktop/GPU I think. Hendrik will need to comment more on this.
You should be able to get it to work by starting from the command line

mediacenter34 /BuiltInBrowser
