ALBUM ART RECOVERY
« on: Today at 08:37:52 am »

Own two Win11 pc's running JRMC33...one is my daily workstation where I process new music; the second is pretty much dedicated to being a music server.
New music is "massaged" with tags being edited and misc documentation including COVER ART, booklets. articles, etc., being added to the folder.
The folders were then imported into MC on the workstation one-by-one which was a bit tedious.
After learning that multiple folders can be imported, once a number of these massaged music folders are accumulated they are copied into another folder for subsequent transfer to MC on the server pc.
Periodically as time permits, the contents of these folders containing multiple music files are imported into MC.
HOWEVER, I discovered upon opening MC on the server, that numerous albums did not show COVER ART.
Inspection of the folders indicates that the COVER ART is in the folder but looking at the TAGS, it appears that the path is actually a relic from when the music file was massaged on the workstation.

Is there a reasonably(?) simple way to have the existing artwork be displayed?
FWIW, I am not sure that the "parent" files for the folders from the workstation are available due to recent BlkSOD.

It is obvious to me, the novice, after stumbling through getting MC to function reasonably well over many years at this point, that MC is extremely sophisticated and works despite my marginal understanding.

ADDENDUM
Since I will be rebuilding a library from the album folders recovered from the failed SSD, what are the things I need to do to assure full transportability of folders between machines without loss of COVER ART, etc.?  Please note that I am not interested in syncing or other such of the two pc's.
