Problems with Media Center 9
« on: January 15, 2003, 06:07:12 pm »

I'm experiencing the following problems with MC9.0.88:
Windows XP Pro and a Plextor 24x10x40 burner

When I select burn audio CD, the start menu does not display recording time until I change the CD capacity from it's displayed setting (80min) to something else (72min)

If I select record without a blank cd in the drive the program locks up.

YADB Doesn't function

Any advise would be appreciated.
Regards

I also have version 9.0.88 (XP Pro) and everytime I do a check for updates I get "No Updates Available".  Why is that?

Also, everytime I try to Rip a CD after the rip is completed the program freezes and I have to exit and reload.

Any ideas???

Since I don't get updates via the program, what is the best upgrade to pursue and how should I go about doing it.

Thanks

Thanks for the quick response...

Well I downloaded the only "build" that seemed available 9.0.1.00 (beta) and installed it.  Is the only way to upgrade by downloading the entire program?

After installation I can no longer do any editing of text re: CD titles, tracks, etc.  I can rename/edit and it goes through the motions to take it but then when I tab or exit the field it doesn't take the change.

Also YADB didn't have Amy Grant's Behind the Eyes which I thought was rather perplexing.

Thanks...

Are you saying I should now go and download 9.0.98???That was the version I was originally looking for but couldn't find it.  If so, where is it?

I must say I'm a bit confused on how someone is to know just what to do and when to do it.

On the bottom of the main download page JRiver Feels Is the Current And Most Stable Build.

http://www.musicex.com/mediajukebox/download.html

If you wish to Download Betas, you will need to go to the Media Center Forum And Look For The Newest Build Normaly The First Message And At The Top Of The Forum.
