CD Burning Problem
« on: December 25, 2002, 10:02:44 am »

I am having a same problem similar to the one cited in the message below from PASTORPAD. I cannot tell whether it is the same problem or not, so I'll describe my problem in detail.

I have no problem ripping CDs, but the last two CDs I've attempted to burn have replicated the last track of the CD as many times as there are tracks on the original CD (I'm simply burning a copy of an entire CD that I copied using MediCenter 9.0). I've seen no errors, and have noticed nothing odd about the burning process for each of these CDs.

HERE IS MY SYSTEM INFO.

MESSAGE FROM PASTORPAD

Hi -- I have updated from 8 to Media Centre 9 and I am having a problem burning CDs. When I burn a CD it copies just 1 (one) track over many times (e.g. if there are 14 tracks on a CD, I get 14 copies of one track).

I am perplexed.

Is it realistic to go back to version 8 (which performed well for me) and dump all of 9?

Thanks and Merry Christmas.

Hi -- I am having the same difficulty you seem to be having. Have you had any advice that I have missed and your problem is now wonderfully solved? Please let me know. Thanks.

There were some bug fixes in the handling of the CD burning list control after the 9.0.88 build, but I'm not sure if they would affect your situation or not. Please let us know if you still have the same problem with the latest build.

Thanks,
