Audio TREE/Album Problem
« on: December 15, 2002, 09:40:31 am »

I have Albums that are not showing up in the Tree under Artist/Album-Artist Name.  They do show up when I select "Media Library" or "Artist/Album. I have tried everything from reinstalling MJ to reimporting the files.
Looks like a BUG.

Do they have special characters in the name?

Are they showing up under "(multiple artists)"?

Yes they do show up under "multiple Artist" .  So does that mean that any album with songs from multiple artist are only listed under "multiple artist".

FYI the Album in question is Crossroads by E. Clapton and the Artist Names reflect the band he was playing with for each song. i.e. "Sunshine of My Love" was recorded with Cream, thus I have the Artist listed as Eric Clapton - Cream.

Is there a better was to accomplish this?

Thanks
Phil

Yep, that's the whole purpose of "Album Artist", to group albums together whose tracks may have different artists.   It's your call as to whether you use "Artist" or "Album Artist" to group on.
