What issues do I have to address installing MJ 9 in Win 98?
This is my system info

I'm unable to upgrade to a later Windows version.

Try uninstalling all your MJ's. (8 and 9)  Reboot.  Then try to install 9 again.  Also, make sure you have either MJ 9.0.80 or the newer 9.0.82.  Just don't use 9.0.81 because there's a known bug on Win98.

Thanks for such a prompt reply.
The MJ 9 installation didn't get under way, it didn't fully "unzip". It was the d/load from the newsletter link. My MJ 8 is untouched.
I was trying to be "thrifty" LOL by getting in B4 1st Dec, but after reading other threads, I don't think my skills are equal to the task, & prob better I wait a bit longer.

don't be worried by other posts on this forum. I am running MJ9 with 98SE without any problems, and I certainly wouldn't call myself a skilled user !!
Download 9.0.82 from the top of this forum and save yourself some money
