I've got the beta version of WMP9 installed on my XP notebook.   When trying to play .avi or .mpg media I get the attached error.

Cannot Determine the Version of Windows Media Player.
Microsoft Media Player 6 or greater must be installed prior play the file your selected.  

Is this a WMP error or a MJ error?

Both are in beta, so it could be either.  We'll get it sorted out.  MS hasn't released the SDK yet.

Both mpg and avi play fine with the latest version of MJ 9.
