tag editing drop down menus

i really miss the drop down menu tag editing found in mj8. it is really useful when you are trying to make a whole set of mp3s as one album name or for keeping the genres consistent. Please add this again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think there still are drop down menus any time you select multiple files with varying values. (the drop lists contain all the values of the selected file set)

Sorry if I'm not on the same page...

What should be there for Genre is:

A selection of all genres that are present in the library, or a picklist we define.

Now it just shows the genres that are selected (and not the genres of the complete media library)

I agree, I'd like to see autocomplete on all the fields in MJ.

Esp. Artist, Album, Genre, Year

Right now it does it with: Name for all the selected tracks.

I'd like it to do it for the other fields with the whole db.
And like for 'Album' I'd like it to create the list from all albums by that artist.

And if unsure to make a field from selected files only, from whole db, or like relating to that artist etc then make it optional :)

I know this means even more options in an already busy options screen but at the end of the day, making things optional means that MJ isn't suited to the majority of it's users. It's specifically suited to each and every one of them to the smallest detail which means each and every customer totally loves the way it functions for them with no 'I like it but this thing annoys me'.

That = HUGE customer base :)
