Ok, I've tried using Libraries a few times in v8 and for the life of me I've always given up on them. i could never work them out or seem to get them to work.
Sure I could read the help file but I dont want to and I'm sure most users dont really want to be delving into the help file when trying to use a feature on a program.
This is what I imagine the Libraries do: Let us store different collections of files so that we can deal with different collections at a time rather than just all of them at once.
When I create a new library in MJ8 I've never managed to successfully unload it, it always tells me it's in use, I cant work out how to enable one or disable another easily, etc etc.
Also, changing between libraries is a 3 or 4 click process which is fairly long winded.
Especially with the introduction of image support in v9 I would be using libraries to store all my images in one library and all my audio files in another. I would then want to swap between them relatively easily. Just by choosing say: Full Collection, My Music, or my Music Video's or My holliday photos (the library names I'd use) from a drop down list and then be able to use that library instantly. Preferably with a library manager that was a little more intuitive. Instead of right now where it says: Cannot unload library as it is in use or something, give me a message saying: Cannot unload as it's in use, to stop using it do such and such. Or: Cannot unload as it's in use, would you like to disable it's use and unload it now?
Just something that helped me when it told me it couldn't be done rather than just said I cant do it.
