Chart Finder and comments - question
« on: June 09, 2003, 02:24:12 am »

Hi!
I apologize if this has been asked before, but I could not find it: Is it possible to do a batch with only lyrics and cover art? My problem is that I can't use the chart info since I use Comments for a very important function, the play list (in my system that equals CD) number. I need that to stay there. Is it possible to turn off saving of chart info to the comments field? I could not see that option in the options dialogue for Chart Finder.

Also the cover art portion of Chart Finder is too far to the right on my system. I have to go to 1152x864 resolution to see it (I usually use 1024 XGA resolution). Is this a setup problem on my PC, or is it because I use MC 9.1 on that computer (it's my experiment PC, I like to test things a place where it can't hurt anything first). Thanks a lot in advance!

>> lyrics and cover art?
yes

You Need To Show Cover Art Picture There is A Batch Button And Manual Buttons There For Lyrics, Bios, And Cover Art.

I may change this, I know MC9 saves to custom fields

I think i may be able to provide an imput box you put in the field you wish and it will save it there.

Increase your screen size to 1152x864 or 1280x1024

OK, thanks. I'll wait until it does not save chart info to the comment field, then.   8)

All very well if your graphics setup supports those resolutions.  Unfortunately mine does not and XGA is really the standard resolution at the moment.  Remember until recently the most common resolution was still 800x600!

King
I would like very much the comment field not use by your program as well.

My music is for a very large part underground. Means that i find not that much lyrics -- nothing to do with the quality of your plugin-.
And ,yes,i'am upset to get' no match 'or i do not remember what in Comment instead of the comment i entered in this field.

Thank you

not mine

been using something higher than 1200x since 1995

on my 19 inch monitor i have it set to 1600x it is easyer to use when programing since you can see everything.

I have used tabs in the program to keep the program size compact within the 800x600 but when adding coverart i had no room left.

I was thinking about re writing the program, I am still thinking about it.

I would very much like a higher res desktop but my combo of Radeon 7200 and Hansol Magellen 500P (15inch) Monitor won't allow it.  I have the option of a newer 17 inch monitor which I got from work and I was thinking about getting the new Radeon AIW 9200 PRO but until then I am unfortunately stuck at 1024x768 :(

I would need a magnifying glass to run 1600x1200 on a 17"! I only resently went to XGA on my 21" work screen and 9 foot wide home theater screen. The rest of the computers in the house runs 800x600, even though most of them have 19" screens.
