If your using the MJ8 version that is an old version and i No longer support it.

MC9 version of Chart And Lyrics Finder Has Many options added.

>> Any ideas
Since numbers like your sample is not part of the song name they must be removed. The program can not check for every problem a user creates by incorrectly naming the song.

That said

>> With all required boxes checked the program
>> does not 'strip 01 etc.' before song name
When the program runs to make a match it always strips everything that is not "A to Z"

Unless the song name or artist name is all numbers

Like artist "112" will strip it from all numbers, and then the program checks the length of the artist name. If the artist name < Len 1 then the program starts from scratch and removes only "-"'s and other chars that are normally found in an artist or song name.

Remember this is only for matches it has nothing to do with changing or removing anything from the artist and the song field.

I do not plan to make the program remove leading track numbers from the song name (in other words it is not going to happen).

How ever if there is a match and you do have change artist name and song name on match checked it should change the fields to remove them.

If it does match but it does not change the field it may be a bug.

If you feel it is a bug send me some info like

Artist Name:
Song Name:

I will then check it out.

Other than that is everything working?

How do you like it?

Would you recommend this to your friends?

Would you recommend this to your Mother, Father, sister, brother?

Do you own a dog or cat?

How many live in your home?

What is your income?

What is your race?

Are you from the U.S.A.? (There is no support for users from France and Germany)

If your a liberal change parties (independent is ok)

Liberal meter [.....|.....] (this is ok and support will be provided)

Liberal meter [|..........] (this is Not Ok)
Liberal meter [..........|] (this is Not Ok)

Since the program is Beerware you must send me a beer (no U.S.A. Beer please)

King , I like Chart Finder.  But you could save me and others a lot of work if you could make a change.

If you would make  "remove THE from all artist names " into the first section, and then make one dummy group (only one song). I could then cleanup all my music and no longer need GONKULATOR (for my needs)

Thanks for all your FREE GREAT WORK

just been playing with THE The the (seems like case matters).. maybe just my typing.  does it? or did it?
Seems to work ok now.  somehow I lost the spaces in the song NAME, that's why it didn't delete the THE (stutter)
