remote invocation of COM interfaces a bad idea?
« on: January 29, 2003, 10:36:20 am »

Given that much effort was put into WebRemote, am I to assume that accessing the COM automation interfaces remotely (across a 10mbps lan) would be a bad idea?

Thanks in advance,
Stuart

Stuart,

MJ/MC automation was never designed to be accessed from outside of its own process, so accessing it over network is out of question.
