I've started ripping allot of my CD's to APE, but wondered if anyone had a clever/better way to keep things organized. Here are my requirements:

-Want to rip some cd's in APE, but not all (because of space limitation), other's will be ripped to mp3.

-I have a portable, so I need mp3's of those APE's available to copy to my player, but I want the APE file to be the master in the library so that it is played when browsing through MJ.

Right now I just create another folder for the mp3's that have been converted from APE and leave them out of the library, but this makes it a pain to find the music I need for updating my player, because it could be in two places.

Wanted to see how other folks with multi format libraries do things. Any better ideas?
