Over zealous skinning
« on: August 20, 2002, 10:10:53 am »

HI Guys,

Is MJAutomation.SkinWindow still supported?

I am writing a splitter window which is based on a STATIC window (MFC CStatic class to be exact).   With skinning off everything works fine.   With skinning enabled MJ is zapping the contents of the window.

I know it's being zapped as I painted the background red (for a test) and I can physically see it going from red to white.

So I remembered about SkinWindow but when I tried it the window still got zapped.

Any ideas?

Rhino,

The skinning of the static control is not fully implemented. It only works with limited number of the static control types.

I thought the idea behind this was to allow switching off skinning on a per window bases.
