Cant seem to find a Lame Mp3 encoder for version 7. I lost it when I reformatted the drive.  Any clues?

MJ8 And MC9 is suported with the current, and is not compatable with the Older Out Dated and not suported  MJ7.

If there is a "Use External Encoder" option in v7 then you could use LAME.exe (mp3's) or oggenc.exe (ogg's) which are both widely available on the 'net.

Yes...."Use External encoder" is a plug-in. In v8 it is part of the package (enc_External.dll - you don't have to download it). Should be the same case for v7.

LAME.exe, of course, is not a plug-in...and so any program can use it...as long as it can "hook" into it.

Thanks all for your suggestions.  I'm a bit of a novice so your advice is all the more appreciated.
