Database question
« on: April 24, 2002, 11:25:15 pm »

Hi Guys,

It seems that the CMJFileAutomation.PlayCounter is not returning the correct value.

I have tracks that I play frequently and it shows zero.

The number I get correlates to the "Seq" field in Playlists/Top Hits ... has the field been named wrong or is the counter not being maintained?

Rhino,

PlayCounter is the same as in Top Hits "Seq" field.

for the PlayCounter to increase you have to play at least 2/3 of the file duration ( you can use seek to fool it )

Nikolay,

I think you have a bug ... I moved the seek slider as you suggested and the play counter on the files I tried did not increment.

Also can I make the suggestion that if you start to play a file it's play counter increments instead of 3/4 of the file.

Quite often I only play parts of a track when I do guitar practice but I would still like to see what are my most popular tracks.
