I jumped over here looking to see if Media Center handled streaming the DRM-hobbled WMA files that you can now buy from buymusic.com.  Found nothing here so I gave it a try myself.

Bought and downloaded a Groove Armada tune and Media Server handed it off to my TiVos just fine.

Hi,

I've been testing DRM WMA files from MusicMatch with mixed results.  Sometimes they play, and sometimes they don't.  It seems like the Tivo "downloads" the music, which the DRM files don't like.  The exact restrictions are that the files can be played on 3 computers, and when you try to play them on another computer, including the Tivo, a message pops up that the remote computer needs to run Music Match.

But I'm not sure why it works sometimes, and doesn't sometimes.  It may be on a track by track basis, though every track I've downloaded from MM has worked at least once on the Tivo.  But it seems like some tracks work better than others.

Thoughts?
