TiVo Beacon not starting

Whenever i have both media center's music server and TiVo's server running when at startup, TiVo gives me an error saying that it can't start the beacon server.  when i stop media server from running at startup, tivo doesn't complain.  is anyone else having this problem?  does anyone know how to fix it?  thanks!

Don't have an answer but have found it can take 1-3 minutes for my PC to launch the TIVO beacon.  I suppose you're giving it a chance to launch but just in case......

I have the same issue Zman, and just posted to see if anyone had any ideas. It seems to have to do with the order in which the programs load. MServer is loading first and shutting TiVo out - I think. If there's a way to set load order (seems logical) then I think that will fix it.

Use the startup delay setting.

It worked for my problem. It's on MCServer under options.
