CD Rip Options should talk about current drive
« on: October 13, 2003, 05:43:21 pm »

I inadvertantly ripped a CD from my second drive today, and was surprised to see it go blazingly fast.  I also didn't get a "Secure Rip Report" at the end.  I checked the advanced ripping options, and it still said "Digital Secure".  What gives?  Well, I looked closer, and saw that it was talking about my other drive letter.  When I switched to the drive letter I was using at the time, it wasn't "Digital Secure", but rather "Digital Large buffer".

A minor bug.  I suppose launching Options from the Rip dialog is just doing the same thing as a subset of the main window's Tools|Options, and the drive setting always comes up with the first drive.  But when you do it from the Rip dialog, there's context for the operation you're about to do, so it could be a little smarter, and in the process a little more user-friendly  :)
