Meciacenter keeps crashing
« on: November 18, 2003, 02:46:47 pm »

hi,

i am using media center 9.1.305. media center hast started to crash constantly today. if i try to use any feature in media center it says that media core encountered an error. and closes. i installed over the old installation, uninstalled and reinstalled but it stays that way. i would like to safe my library.

in the error message it says that there is a file which is supposed to be the protocol it is long but i will post it here. anyone an idea?

the protocol (only the very last part so the message does not get too long):

Bad install?  Try downloading again, but don't use a download manager to do so.

With regedit.exe, change:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JRiver\Media Jukebox\Plugins\Display\Active Plugin (0)

to

None

Let us know if that does it.
